Admission Process for candidates from Thailand

Candidates

Candidates for the Master in Finance program should possess a  bachelor's degree  from a University. Candidates may come from any discipline (engineering, economics, medicine, etc.). Recent graduates, early career professionals, or senior professionals can be considered for admission. Both academic and professional achievements will be evaluated individually; the consistency of the candidate with the whole group will also be considered
ADMISSION PROCESS

The first step in your application is to submit a Curriculum Vitae (CV) as well as a short motivation letter (one/two pages) explaining why you want to complete the Master's and how it will impact your career. The Admission Committee will evaluate your academic background, professional profile, and objectives to be sure that the program is adequate for you. Once the committee has taken a decision, a letter will be sent to you accepting or rejecting your application. Rejected candidates can re-apply in future editions of the Master. There is no application fee
SEAT RESERVATION

In case you are admitted you will be requested to deposit a fee of 1,180 euros (one thousand three hundred and eighty euros) to reserve your seat. The fee is fully returnable just in case the program is not finally run. Specific instructions to transfer the deposit to the University account and other information will be included in your acceptance letter
ENROLLMENT

After your seat has been reserved you will be required to send some documents essential for your final enrollment as a student of the University of Alcalá.

Required Documents are:

  • Photocopy of the Passport, valid, at least, for the next 6 months after application
  • If your degree is from a university inside the European Higher Education Area : a scanned copy of the original degree.
  • If your degree is from a university outside the European Higher Education Area, but belonging to the Hague Convention ; for example, your degree was obtained in India, United Kingdom, or Australia: Certified copy, with the Apostille of the Hague of your University degree and a notarized translation to English of the grades obtained, the workload in hours/ credits and the academic years of each of the subjects that you took to obtain your degree (University transcripts).
  • If your title is from one University outside the European Area and and does not belong to the Hague Convention: We will need a sworn translation into English of your degree, in addition the degree must be legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs where the title is issued(for example, Thailand) and by the Spanish embassy of the country. We also require a notarized translation to English of the grades obtained, the workload in hours/ credits and the academic years of each of the subjects that you took to obtain your degree (University transcripts).
You will receive specific instructions on how to obtain such documents in your particular case and our Program Coordinators will assist you with any questions you may have along this process.
